Steven has owned and run his own successful sign company for over 28 years, hiring many staff and dealing with all the highs and lows of business on a day to day basis. He survived the recession in 1989 and the GFC in 2008 and is still going strong. It was only just recently that he decided to sell the business to his manager and move on to other ventures and opportunities.

During the 28 years in business he started off as a “sign writer”, this however was soon to change. As mentioned in other areas of this site Steven was quite creative and had an entrepreneurial spirit. At the age of 21 he bought his first property and then went on to invest in 14 other properties as an investor. Also during this period he invented several products and was selling them in various stores around Australia. Having his company set up under management and working as a “turn key” operation allowed Steven to diversify his interests at a very young age.

Steven literally dealt with thousands of businesses over the years, everything from one man operated small businesses to large corporate organisations, and everything in between.

Having seen and being involved with such a variety of businesses gave Steven the opportunity to study and analyse every type of activity that was taking place in these companies, positive or negative. Steven soon developed a passion for small business and his desire to help others over took his interest in his own company, which lead him into a new area now called “business coaching”.

Steven has been contacted by many companies requesting to employ his services. Most recently he was contracted to go to Darwin for 3 months to help a company that was having issues and he was requested help out. Steven has an uncanny ability to see things in businesses that the owners don’t, which allows him to be a huge asset to a business that may not be running so well, have some problems or even simply running out of energy.
